The skilled trades have an entrance exam preparation problem. The tests that gatekeep apprenticeship programs — the EIAT, IBEW/NJATC, UA Pipe Trades, and others — are competitive and consequential. Clearing the qualifying score threshold is the only way to advance to the hiring interview.
Existing test prep for these exams has not kept up. Most of it is photocopied worksheets, decade-old PDF guides, or generic academic math apps that have no idea what trade they are preparing you for. Calculators are banned on many trade exams, yet existing prep sites fail to train manual arithmetic speed.
ClackPrep is built from scratch, exam by exam, with content written specifically for each trade — realistic non-calculator arithmetic, Bennett mechanical comprehension, tool identification, and tape measure reading.
